I take great pleasure in teaching and being part of the art community where I am situated. My students enjoy the visual stimulation from their peers while I provide practical, hands-on input as they work, pushing each individual to grow in their handling of mediums, basic observation and use of colour.

While learning and mastering technique is a priority in my classes, an additional component is understanding how to encode and decode images so that students can push past creating a picture with technical excellence and onto creating ‘art’.

Classes run on a termly basis (minimum of 8 lessons per term) at my home studio located at 838 Mangorei Rd, New Plymouth.

Class times are:

Tuesdays evenings  18:00 - 20:00 

Friday mornings        9:30 - 11:30

Classes are focused on adults and students from the age of 16.

The first term 4 class is on the 6th of Feb, 2024.
