In this body of work, I am investigating the simplest form of painting. Breaking the act of painting down into atoms seems to allure ones thought to the fabrication of it, leaving traces of the maker. The weave of the canvass, the stripe-like paint application and the blatant truth of the medium all speak of construction and building. If painting is evidence of a painter, and a building is evidence of a builder, one is begged to ask wether creation evidence of a creator.
